Fan Zone in the Olympic Park for UEFA EURO 2024 in Munich with public screening

From June 14 to July 14, 2024, UEFA EURO 2024 matches were broadcast in the fan zone in the Olympic Park during public screening. There was also a colorful concert program and numerous activities relating to football, society and sustainability.

Public screening: EURO matches live on up to five screens

You could experience the UEFA EURO 2024 matches live on three screens with a good view and a great atmosphere in the Fan Zone. A 120 square meter screen was set up on the Olympic Lake in front of the grass steps. You could also watch the matches on a 36 square meter screen at the Theatron and a 21 square meter screen under the Magic Sky at Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz. A fourth screen was set up at the BVF Soccer Court for parallel matches on the last group match day. The Olympic Stadium was also open for public screening for some Germany matches and matches in Munich.

Free concerts and events in the Munich Fan Zone

The large stage on the Olympic Lake transformed the Fan Zone into a concert location for numerous artists and bands. Stars such as Kelvin Jones, Kytes, Moop Mama and Münchener Freiheit performed here.

Other program highlights such as the Jazz Day, the Inclusion Day, the Munich Music Day with Bavarian music, poetry slam competitions and an e-sports day also took place here. Exhibition trucks, creative workshops for kids and live art performances with artist collectives (including Kunstlabor 2, broke.today, Vandali) also awaited you in the Fan Zone.

Fair Play Zone and sports and leisure activities in the Fan Zone Munich

In the Fair Play Zone, everything revolved around the topic of sustainability. In workshops and with information offers, you received useful know-how on the topics of environment, climate, diversity and inclusion every day.

The Bavarian Football Association presented itself every day with a colorful program in the Fan Zone with plenty of soccer on a mini football pitch for tournaments and hands-on activities as well as inclusive opportunities for blind soccer, amputee soccer, frame football and much more.

If you were looking for an adrenaline kick with a unique view, the Flying Fox in the Fan Zone was the place to be. From the summit of the Olympiaberg on the other shore of the Olympic Lake, the ride was over 400 meters long and up to 40 meters high at 50 km/h down to the meadow in front of the Olympic swimming hall.

The sponsors of the European Football Championships also offered impressive interactive and digital experiences at their stands.

Emergency and awareness

Awareness teams were on site on all match days to provide support to those affected in cases of discrimination or harassment.
