The principle of the Rotor is actually simple: You enter a cylinder that starts to spin. The fun begins the faster the cylinder rotates. Because then the centrifugal force works and you are pressed against the wall to which you are literally glued. This is also necessary, because while driving, the bottom of the cylinder lowers and you virtually float in the rotor.
The rotor has been at the Oktoberfest since 1955 and the fascination of the physical principle has not diminished over the decades. This is also reflected in the fact that there are always many spectators who watch the passengers rotate.
