Oktoberfest tent with gallows humor and organic snack
Since 1869, a creepy, humorous Oktoberfest custom has had its home on the theater stage next to the Wirtshaus im Schichtl: Here, the "decapitation of a living person on an open, brightly lit stage by guillotine" is performed 25 times a day.
While heads roll on the theater stage next door at "Let's go at the Schichtl", Bavarian specialties from organic supplier Hermannsdorfer are served for snacks in the friendly Schichtl tent. In addition to beer, wine and prosecco are also on the drinks menu.

Table reservations at the Wirtshaus im Schichtl at the Oktoberfest are possible with the online reservation form (German). Depending on the time of day, reservations include a minimum consumption. Also included is one theater ticket per person.
Opening hours

- Saturday/Sunday and public holidays (3.10.): 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
